Where’d the summer go?

Hello, my Queens!

Anyone else feel like summer just flew right on by? I swear, it was just a few weeks ago that school officially got out! And here I am, sending my kiddos off to school once again. It’s been a bit emotional – my baby is off to Kindergarten this year. So don’t mind me as I sniffle away and wipe my tears. (How is he in Kindergarten already!?!)

It doesn’t help that this summer has been crazy busy. I’ve had a week-long family vacation to Colorado and a short trip to Kansas City. Work has been the busiest non-busy summer in the nearly-ten years I’ve been at this job. AND! To top it all off, I had three cover reveals this month.

Three, you say?
Yes. Three.

Check out these beauties!

Playing for Keeps

Playing for Keeps is the third and final book in my Playing with Hearts series. It’s a steamy, second-chance romance, full of secret lives and hidden identities, and the kind of love that burns hotter than the sun.

Life with Vinny Leonetti gave me opportunities I’d never even imagined. Private jet trips across the country on a whim, dining at expensive restaurants, and island vacations where we soaked up the sun. But all that money also brought me danger and heartbreak.

It all became too much. I walked away from that life and my chance at an all-consuming love.

Though I was intent on making it on my own, not a day went by that he wasn’t on my mind. And when life brought me back to the city it all began in, the danger found me before he did.

As I tried to make my way back to him, the threats came at me from every side. Was my love for him strong enough to save me? And if so, would he give me a second chance?

How about a little Mafia?

Do you love mafia romance? If so, step into the dark and gritty universe of the Underworld Kings. A multi-author series of standalone books filled with mafia families waging war, danger and violence, arranged and forced marriages, angst, love, and everything in-between. Light or dark, twisted or sweet, the Underworld Kings has something for every reader.

Have you ever written something down so you wouldn’t forget about it, only you promptly forget about it? And then, over a year later, you find the paper you wrote on stuck in the back of your drawer or behind your desk?

That was The Fixer. I wrote it in just over 2 months, and finished it at the end of February 2020. Then lockdown happened, and I forgot.

But I recently found it again, vaguely remembering small pieces of the storyline, and was blown away. I wanted to congratulate the author on a job well done… even though that author is me.

I’m absolutely in love with this story. From the Jet and Eliza, to the cameos from previous characters, to the glimpses into future stores to come.

The Fixer doesn’t come out until November 29th, so until then, I leave you this:

When Eliza Westbrook stumbled into my arms at her father’s funeral, I wanted nothing more than to help the beautiful, broken girl. I wanted to take away the pain in her eyes and heal her fractured, lonely heart. My presence was the last thing she needed, yet I couldn’t stay away.

What started out as a mild obsession quickly turned into a game of survival. Unexplainable events threatened us at every turn, but was it because of my dark past, or the man intent on taking her life?

I wanted to keep her safe, to give into the pull I felt tugging me toward her from the moment we first met. But would I be able to push my demons aside to save her, or will she have to fix me first?

The Fixer is coming November 29th, and I’m so excited for you to

She was the daughter of my worst enemy.
I was the hitman hired to take her out.

She was broken, frightened, and guarded, and the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. I vowed then and there to take away her fears and keep her safe. But she lied to me, giving me a fake name before she disappeared from my sight.

The contract that hit my phone gave me her true identity and a second chance at finding her. Hunting her down was no easy feat, but leaving her alone wasn’t an option. It wasn’t just my family of hitmen I needed to protect her from, it was the man who wanted her life.

Digging into the past revealed secrets so dangerous they put all our lives at risk. For me, she was worth it. For love, it was a chance I would take. But would I be enough to save her, or would our pasts tear us apart?

**Each book in the Medina Crime Family series is a standalone, HEA guaranteed. But because the stories are interconnected, it is recommended to read them in order.
